My name is William Edden and I am 13 years old and I love the theatre. I live in Stanstead Abbotts in Hertfordshire. I go to the Richard Hale School in Hertford and I attend the Phoenix Theatre School three evenings a week, based in Harlow, Essex. My theatrical career started at the age of 7 when I attended an open audition for a large-scale production of The Wizard of Oz at The Playhouse Theatre in Harlow. Having landed the role of a Munchkin I then went on to appear in Bugsy Malone, Dick Whittington and as Nipper in Oliver! at the same theatre. At the age of 9 I auditioned for the Cameron Mackintosh production of Oliver! and was given the role of Nipper again in the Dury Lane Show. I was in Oliver! for 15 months. Next I went on to play Gavroche in Les Miserables at The Queens Theatre in Shaftebury Avenue for a year. Most recently I played Lionka in Ahasverus at the Hampstead Theatre London for the RSC. I also enjoy sports, computer games, holidays and most of all my friends and family.
